3.5 hectares of Merlot planted on sandy iron-rich clay (‘crasse de fer’ in Bordeaux), hand sorted at harvest and transported to the cellar in small crates. After a low temperature fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine undergoes an 1-year-old French barrel ageing for 15 months.
