The 2015 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Pergole Vece is a classic expression of the region, showcasing richness, generosity, and exuberance typical of the vintage. Predominantly made from Corvina and Corvinone grapes (80% of the blend), with smaller proportions of Dindarella, Rondinella, and Oseleta, it undergoes five months of appassimento, lending it a medium level of sweetness that enhances its volume and richness on the palate. With a high alcohol content of 16.5%, it delivers a powerful finish. This full-bodied Amarone, aged in barrique for 32 months, reveals abundant spice and toasted smoke notes. It’s a fruit-forward vintage and the most robust wine in its lineup, perfect for pairing with braised meats. Only 5,000 bottles were made.
