Tenuta Sette Ponti, Oreno 2004

The 2004 Oreno, which is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese, is bursting with generous super-ripe dark fruit and sweet toasted oak notes, showing much concentration, length and vitality on the palate, as well as finessed tannins to round out the finish. With bottle ageing, the tannin becomes smooth and silky, together with the leathery and chocolate flavours that brings extra complexity to the wine.
