Ataahua, Pinot Noir 2018

This Pinot Noir presents a bouquet of sweet berry fruit and cherries, accompanied by earthy notes of forest floor and mushrooms. The palate offers an elegantly balanced profile with fine tannins and a lingering finish. It pairs wonderfully with red meat dishes, especially duck or a rich mushroom risotto. The wine evolves beautifully in the glass. Made from Pinot Noir grapes sourced from vines over 20 years old and a variety of clones, it undergoes 12 months of maturation in seasoned French oak barrels, allowing for complete secondary fermentation and integration of tannins.
