This wine is a blend of 55% Redman’s 80-year-old North End Shiraz and 45% Balnaves’ 43-year-old Paulownia Cabernet Sauvignon vines. Deep red in color, it boasts aromas of dark mulberry, blackberry, violets, and subtle spicy French oak. The palate is smooth and light, with fine-grained tannins and a balanced fruit-to-structure ratio. This wine pays homage to Coonawarra’s 121-year winemaking history and its founder, William Wilson.
