Domaine du Cayron, Gigondas 2018

This Gigondas 2018 is made from 78% Grenache, complemented by 14% Syrah, 6% Cinsault, and 2% Mourvèdre. It thrives in clay-limestone, sandy, and stony soils, offering a yield of 30 hl/ha. It presents an intense purple colour with brilliant reflections and aromas of red cherry and blackcurrant, hints of wild herbs, spices, pepper, basil, and a mineral touch, offering refreshing acidity. On the palate, it reveals a generous, powerful, and full-bodied character with fine, silky tannins, showcasing elegance and harmony with a lingering finish.
