The wine has a beautiful deep and intense red color. The nose is particularly expressive, revealing complex aromas of ripe fruits, as well as roasted and smoky notes. After a fairly smooth mouthfeel, the wine shows great amplitude and excellent persistence, all with finesse and elegance.

Les vieilles vignes offers a deep red with a velvety bouquet. Opens with enticing aromas of wild berries, cherries, earthy undertones, and spices. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, displaying concentration and vibrancy, with lively flavors and a framework of soft tannins.

Fiona Leroy’s Maranges Rouge is made entirely from Pinot Noir grapes grown on a vineyard planted in 1950. It showcases traditional aromas of wild cherry and raspberry. The wine is lively, with a refreshing acidity, balanced by peppery spice and a pleasant interplay of smoothness and firm tannins.

The 2019 Aloxe-Corton 1er Cru Clos du Chapitre exhibits a complex array of aromas, with earthy cherries, cassis, black truffle, and smoked meats mingling on the nose. It presents a medium to full-bodied palate, elegantly muscular, with a fleshy core of fruit and powdery structuring tannins.

The 2017 Nuits-Saint-Georges Les Hauts Poirets reveals a deep and complex bouquet of cherries, cassis, dark chocolate, and grilled meat, lifted by floral accents. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, with layers of concentration and a velvety texture. Structured with rich, fine-grained tannins, it presents a serious demeanor for its vintage, suggesting it will benefit from some aging.

The Premier Cru Les Serpentières is located near Savigny-lès-Beaune, on a south-facing slope with limestone-rich, rocky soil, perfect for pinot noir. Following manual harvests, the wine undergoes traditional vinification, with temperature control and aging in oak barrels. The result is an elegant Premier Cru from Domaine Javillier, displaying rich red and black fruit flavors, rounded texture, and well-integrated tannins.
