Pascal Marchand, a Burgundy veteran, gained prominence at Comte Armand in Pommard before starting his own negociant operation in 2006. Working out of Nuits-St.-Georges, Marchand oversees barrel evolution in trusted growers’ cellars and vinifies some wines from purchased fruit in his facility, showcasing the emerging micro-negociant model.
