The Vigna del Capannino 2016 is a wine crafted exclusively in the finest vintages from Sangiovese Grosso grapes, a unique clone monopolized in the Vigna del Capannino vineyard overlooking Monteriggioni. The vineyard spans 7 hectares of pliocene celeste clay soil, deep Alberese schist. Notable for its intense ruby-red color with purple reflections, the wine exudes aromas of black cherry, plum, sweet spice balsamic, cinnamon, and cloves. On the palate, it offers pronounced savoriness wrapped in elegant softness.

This tradition is a blend of Chardonnay and Savagnin undergoes fermentation in stainless steel tanks and is aged in oak barrels. It has a nutty aroma stronger in smell than in taste, with a nice smoothness, refreshing taste, and a lingering finish with subtle bitterness.

Yann Durieux’s Les Ponts Blancs is a structured orange wine with a vibrant acidity and subtle tropical fruit notes. It’s crafted naturally, without added sulfites, sourced from a tiny plot of Aligoté vines nestled beneath Les Grands Ponts. Following the same vinification and aging process as its counterpart, Les Ponts Blancs undergoes tank aging. This orange wine from Yann Durieux offers a powerful yet refreshing palate experience.
