The Bourgueil – Le Haut de la Butte 2020 from the Domaine de la Butte, created by Jacky Blot, offers elegant and fruity Cabernets. Le Haut de la Butte is made from vines around twenty years old. The approach involves low yields, minimal intervention, limited extraction, and aging in oak.

The Hauts de Husseau 2021 from Domaine de la Taille Aux Loups is a wine from Montlouis-sur-Loire. These very old vines, aged between 80 and 100 years, are situated at the highest point of the appellation, on soils consisting of clay with flint on the surface and limestone beneath. The notes of dried fruits and a hint of citrus provide a sensation of purity.

“Les Coudraies” is a wine with 100% Cabernet Franc. Its evolution in the glass presents us with a rustic romanticism that we adore in Cabernet Franc. Notes of blackcurrant, blackberries, with hints of fresh herbs and black pepper. The palate shows beautiful concentration with particularly silky tannins, a delight.

Aged in new barrels for three years and bottled unfiltered, the 2016 Chinon Le Puy 36 mois boasts a dark cherry color and an intense nose of perfectly ripe dark berries mingled with toast, mocha, and fresh, flinty notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied, round, and juicy, presenting a remarkably elegant and refined texture. The finish is vibrant and tense, with firm and vital tannins that leave a clear palate.

This wine pays tribute to the great-grandmother of the family, “La Léontine”. This Pouilly-Fumé, perfectly ripe, is aged for one year in barrels. It combines intense fruit expressions with the roundness and spiciness of the barrel. A wine of exceptional balance, fine and powerful. It presents a beautiful harmony of minerality, candied lemon, nutmeg, and vanilla. Beautiful tension and length on the palate.

The Tradition cuvée is from a harmonious blend of grapes sourced from all the Pouilly-Fumé parcels. It showcases the exotic fruity nuances of grapefruit and other citrus fruits, as well as the mineral richness of our ‘Terres Blanches’ terroir. Its flavor profile includes fruity notes of passion fruit, grapefruit, lychee, mango, and citrus, complemented by smoky undertones reminiscent of flint and mineral notes, along with delicate floral hints of white flowers, acacia, and blackcurrant bud.
